If Ernest Hemingway and Orson Wells spend summers in a place, then you should probably go there.
I wasn't lying about the views.
the real good views...
Because the earth is so awesome and rivers cause erosion, there was a small bridge connecting town but it was kinda out of the way and not that great. So THEN they built this big impressive bridge (it truly is impressive) and then you can take this big gradual staircase down the side of the cliff and see it from this angle. Getting back up to top is the hard part. Pretty sure it's like 30 flights of steps of something (thanks iPhone for the Health app!)
Here is the view from the opposite side on the bridge. I think there is a trail that takes you down there, but it was extremely rainy (story of this whole trip) so much too mentally exhausting to walk a muddy, stormy path.
We ate dinner at this super delicious tapas restaurant. Eventually we got too cold to sit out here, BUT chickens roamed free around the backyard! So, I essentially scared these babies half to death trying to photograph them. Momma hen wasn't too pleased with me.
Sometimes your boyfriend wants a time-lapse of the sunset so you go down the path a bit further for the following photo...
Plaza de Toros de Ronda. I gave this place a Google to see if I had any fun facts, and apparently Madonna filmed her "Take a Bow" music video here. Another fun fact, this is the largest bullring (66m/217ft in diameter) and also the oldest I believe.
