Fourth of July in Colorado typically means cruising west on I-70 in pursuit of camping, hiking, and adventure in the Rocky Mountains or even nearby in Utah. But that usually means sitting in standstill conditions on the return home. So we switched things up this year and drove south to New Mexico for a weekend of water, woodfires, smores, and yurts!
